Existential Summits

The Global Existential Summits were developed by Dr Natalie Fraser following her training in existential philosophy and psychology. As she fell in love with these powerful ideas, she realised that no one seemed to give the same answer to her question:

‘what is existential philosophy?’

Natalie began interviewing pioneering existential thinkers from all around the world asking what ‘existential’ meant to them, and how these ideas can bring healing and meaning to humanity. These conversations are shared in online summits that welcome people from all walks of life to explore life-changing ideas in a more creative and accessible way than mainstream education.

The first Global Existential Summit was launched in 2022. It reached thousands of people from around the world and over the years the project has continued to develop, with the second summit released in 2023, the third in 2024, the the fourth in 2025, and the fifth in 2026.

The project aims to:
– Offer a community for people to explore and confront life's biggest and most challenging questions.
– Move beyond the mainstream white western ‘existential elite’ by honouring the magnificent range of global voices exploring philosophies of existence.
– Increase accessibility within a discipline that tends to be expensive and elitist by providing free resources and events.
